Algerian Sophia Botlet joins Tom Cruise in "The Mummy"

The American actor Tom Cruise will star in "The Mummy," which will be screened in theaters in the United States and the world on 9 June 2017.

Sophia Botlet in the film, which was described as "terrifying," playing an Egyptian mummy called "Ahminat," returned to life after opening her tomb next to the pyramids of Giza in Egypt.

Tom Cruise is playing the character of archaeologist Nick Morton, who returns an evil Egyptian mummy to life by mistake, and then kills in an airplane crash trying to move the mummy to another place away from the grave where he was buried for thousands of years. Then he will return to life to begin his war on the mummy to save the world. Of its evil.

Also participating in the film, actress Anna Bell Ellis as "Jenny" and actor Jake Johnson as Sergeant "Phil".

The film's scenes were filmed in Namibia and Britain.

Sophia Botlet, Algerian dancer, actress and playwright, was born in 1982 in Bab El-Wadi.

She is famous for appearing in Nike women's ads and has also participated in several American films, notably: Street Dance 2 and The Black Continent.
