Closing ceremony of the 20th session of the Arab Festival of Radio and Television

TUNIS, After numerous meetings, conferences, exhibitions, professional markets and very tight competition for three days, the 20th session of the Arab Festival of Radio and Television was closed on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Opera Theater of the City of Culture in presence of a very large number of participants representatives of the Arab radios and televisions, political figures, artists and representatives of the Arab media and Arab and foreign diplomats.

During this closing ceremony broadcasted on all the Arab channels and several private channels, ASBU paid a very special tribute to Palestine and Al Quds the eternal capital of all Arabs, through a rich musical program celebrating the centennial heritage of Palestine.

Animated by the Tunisian Sami Nouisser and the Palestinian Ayed Aouimer , this ceremony was authentically Arab with the participation of four singers from Sudan, Palestine and Jordan.

This show started by the Sudanese singer Nancy Ajaj in tribute to this country where union of ASBU was born fifty years ago, through a very beautiful song where the traditional rhythms of Sudan merged with the modern styles.

It was time then to the Palestinian artist Nancy Haoua to go on the prestigious stage of the Opera Theater to sing her best hits namely: Watan Assalam, Addaba Al Jamal Kalbi and Haddi Ya Bahr.

Singer Yaacoub Shaheen, who said that he was carrying a message of love and peace and that he was dreaming about seeing such festival happening in Palestine and precisely in its capital Al Qods, went on the stage and performed a selection of several songs including "Trabha Rouhi", "Baktob ismak ya bladi" and "Habbat Annar" with the participation of the troupe of traditional dance of the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation which carries the name of the martyr Jafra Naboulsi .

This show was closed with singer Omar Abdellat, who became very famous with his song "Ya Saad" he generously sang for the audience with other songs including "Ya Jabel".

During this evening, the awards of the different competitions of the 20th session of the Arab Festival of Radio and Television ASBU were awarded to the winners.
