This exhibition presents HD reproductions of 14 of the most famous portraits of the Italian Renaissance painter using the most modern technologies for the reproduction and presentation of artistic works.
The gallery has been technically and aesthetically arranged for a better presentation of the works of this great artist.
The smallest details of the original works were presented to the audience present on the occasion to enjoy such an interesting event.
Also a multimedia installation with HD screens has been placed in the lower hall of the City of Culture, offering to see and discover other works of this artist and also the major steps through which the Renaissance era went.
Is should be noticed also that this exhibition is the first of a major international tour organized on the occasion of the 5th centenary of the death of Raffaello, one of the most famous Italian portrait painters of the Renaissance era, carried out by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the RAI that has chosen the prestigious City of Culture as the starting point of this travelling exhibition.
This exhibition comes as part of the Opera Omnia project, which was born from the idea that the entire artistic heritage of Leonardo, Raffaello, Caravaggio and other masters of the Italian painting, is put in different museums, churches and private galleries which makes it impossible to hold large monographic exhibitions.
Thanks to the Opera Omnia, exhibitions can be easily transported and installed anywhere in the world.
Professor Antonio Paolucci, one of the most important international experts and curator of the exhibition, certifies the scientific rigor which is the basis of the project.
N.B: The MACAM gallery will be opened the whole week starting from 10:00 until 19:00, except Monday.
