"Today we are really glad to be with you dear Tunisian audience to share with you this beautiful moment at the end of our long tour towards twenty countries. We have chosen to end this precious event with you, here in Tunisia, where the blood of Tunisian and Palestinian martyrs merge." With these words, "Samir Jobran" opened the special evening at the Opera Theater in front of a large number of spectators coming to enjoy the delights of the very famous Palestinian troupe.
It was a poetic evening, in which the Palestinian great poet, late Mahmoud Darwish, was present through his very famous poems. The show started with verses from the poem "On this land, there is what deserves life".
For resistance, peace, love and struggles, the Trio Jobran played a selection of their best songs and melodies, especially from their new album “ Long March”, which includes nine tracks all inspired from the poems of late Mahmoud Darwish.
The show was the summary of the life that takes place around these Palestinian artists with a deep and wide reflection to all the martyrs, prisoners, and the diaspora.
The show was also an occasion to stress and highlight the Palestinian issue and the painful reality that the Palestinian people are living every day.
The audience of the Opera Theater was also surprised during this event to see the Iranian instrumentalist Habib Moftah on the stage with the Plestinian artists, and who offered to Tunisia the best of traditional Iranian songs.
It was an exceptional evening that amazed the wonderful audience of the Opera Theater.
