Russia-Novosibirsk: - The Dymka cat had a period of time frosting in Siberia's winter, and was about to die in 2018, and due to icy stings her limbs and four had amputations and her ears.

Today, Russian physician Sergei Gorshkov has been able to replace it with robotic limbs, making Dymka the second cat to have prostheses on all four sides.

He has collaborated with experts at Tomsk University of Applied Arts to help produce unique prostheses, as engineers and designers have chosen to take out the new titanium legs and using 3D printing to make sure they are perfect.

Researchers from Tomsk University of Applied Arts covered the prosthetic limbs with a special bio layer to ensure they reach the body.

It took seven months for the cat to fully recover from the major surgery, but it is now believed that it has returned to full fitness and adapts well to its new form of walking.
