Tunisia (Egyptian News Vision) A traffic accident occurred on the road linking the city of Ain Dirham, northwest of Tunisia, to Amdoun. About 40 people were reportedly killed or injured.

Local radio and news sites reported that a tourist bus carrying schoolchildren on a trip to the city of Ain Dirham overturned, killing 22 people and injuring 19.

Emergency measures were taken in several hospitals in Greater Tunis and the Northwestern provinces.

The road leading to the city of Ain Dirham one of the most rugged roads in Tunisia, as the city rises about 1,000 meters above sea level. Reports suggest that the death toll has risen to 24.
