What Lebanon has been experiencing for ages now has left most Lebanese with unclear thinking building a gradual detachment within them. These complicated feelings lead many Lebanese people to leave the country, whereas the rest feel alienated while still living in Lebanon. However, these events provided a fertile ground for creative works of art, the latest of which is The Sea Ahead by Ely Dagher that competes at this year’s prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
Short film Bomb, by director Dima Hamdan, will take part in the 4th Beirut Women International Film Festival (July 19- 23). The film will screen at 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM, Lebanon time (GMT+3), on Tuesday, July 20.
Cairo - Feature film Fiela's Child, by director Brett Michael Innes, will participate in the 4th Beirut Women International Film Festival (July 19- 23). The film has previously won seven awards within its tour across the world’s international festivals. Fiela's Child will screen on Tuesday, July 20 at 10:00 PM Beirut time (GMT +3).
