Dubai United Arab Emirates:- The Russian Air Force raided and destroyed a convoy of oil trucks heading from northern Syria to Turkey, according to Russian media and a Syrian source, with a drone, while other sources said it was by a fighter plane.

The raid targeted oil trucks heading from Syria to Turkey, after the Russian intelligence services received information about the planned transfer.

The Russian agency said that the attack occurred shortly before the convoy left Syria and entered Turkish territory.

According to the director of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the raid took place in the city of Al-Bab, which is located in the governorate of Aleppo.

Russian press sources said that the raid destroyed the entire convoy, and others say that only 3 oil trucks from the entire convoy were damaged.

The Russian strike may have been a response to the Turkish artillery attack on the Russian military base in Tal Tamr in Aleppo governorate days ago, according to the site.
