Daily Times, The Algerian court issued a decision to place the former Minister of Water Resources, Arezki Baraki, in provisional detention, pending investigation.

Arzuki Baraki is suspected of corruption during his tenure as the General Directorate of the National Agency for Dams and Transfers.

Baraki Arezki is a high official and Algerian minister in the Jarad government, born on March 08, 1965 in Koubba.

He is a state engineer in civil engineering specializing in construction and hydraulic preparation, and he holds a master's degree in management and business administration

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune terminated Baraki's duties as head of the Ministry of Water Resources in February 2021.
