A senior source at Baghdad International Airport confirmed to AFP that "the damaged Boeing 767, belonging to Iraqi Airways, was stopped for maintenance for a while."
An official statement by the Iraqi Airways, affiliated to the Ministry of Transport, confirmed that "the missile bombing that targeted Baghdad International Airport, damaged one of the company's out-of-service planes perched in the vicinity of the airport," stressing that "our direct flights continue."
