Daily Times, United Arab Emirates: - The Saudi Royal Air Defense Forces were able to intercept and destroy (4) booby-trapped drones and (5) ballistic missiles launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from Saada governorate towards the city of Jizan.

Houthi planes and missiles attempted to target a number of civilian targets that are protected under international humanitarian law, according to what was stated by the spokesman for the coalition forces, the "Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen," Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki.

The interception and destruction process resulted in the fall and scattering of protest fragments on the university campus, which resulted in the outbreak of a limited fire that was controlled without civilian casualties.

Brigadier General Al-Maliki added that the attempts of the terrorist Houthi militia are hostile and absurd to target civilians and civilian objects in a systematic and deliberate manner using explosive UAVs and ballistic missiles, and that these hostile actions constitute war crimes.

Brigadier General Al-Maliki stressed that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition takes and implements all operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects by neutralizing and destroying sources of threat, in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
