Daily Times, United Arab Emirates: - A recent study on coffee proved that this drink can reduce the likelihood of hearing loss in men.

The study used data from nearly 37,000 people, males and females, and showed that coffee may be beneficial for hearing due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

No link has been found between coffee and hearing function in women, something the team says could be due to differences in physiology.

The study was based on a hearing test, and was repeated two more times later.

Then the results were analyzed and other factors related to health and lifestyle were taken into consideration.

The results showed that men who drank between one and 4 and a half cups of coffee per day were less likely to suffer from hearing loss.

But individuals should not consume excessive amounts of coffee in an effort to prevent hearing loss. As this can lead to other health problems.
