#Vision, Dubai United Arab Emirates:- The operation to put an Earth observation satellite into orbit failed, as a result of a technical glitch minutes after the launch of the Indian Space Agency's rocket.

The Indian Space Research Organization said in a statement on its website: "Performance in the first and second stages was normal, but the ignition in the upper stage ... did not occur due to a technical defect, and the mission could not be accomplished as intended."

India launched the satellite, which was aimed at rapid monitoring of natural disasters such as cyclones and thunderstorms, at 00:13 GMT from the Satish Dawn Space Center in Sriharikota in the south of the country.

India has demonstrated its skill in both space exploration and the launching of satellites at a much lower cost than European countries and the United States.

The Indian and Chinese space experiments are considered one of the sources of power of the Asian country, and evidence that it is not inferior to some Western countries such as the United States, with regard to this field.
