Vision Egyptian News, Egypt: - Cairo and Moscow agreed to resume Russian flights to Egypt, including Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh airports, after a phone call between the presidents of the two countries, Abdel-Qah al-Sisi and Vladimir Putin.

The contact also dealt with discussions on all issues of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially those related to cooperation in the tourism sector.

The agreement regarding Sharm el-Sheikh and Al-Gharqa airports, which are popular with Russian tourists, came after a tour by a Russian security delegation at the two airports, in which they followed up on the security measures applied to passengers and workers.

Russian flights had been suspended to Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh airports, since the Russian plane crashed over the Sinai desert in late October 2015.
