Controls have been issued for the work of tourism companies with the desert tourism product, which includes limiting dealing with the organization of desert tourism trips with the tourism companies licensed by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities only, provided that they submit a request to implement the desert trip program (overnight / one day) to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Attached to it are all the details of the itinerary in detail, according to the approved itineraries only, the implementation timeline and the detailed itinerary (days and dates - campsites - jumps - coordinates - distance in kilometres).
In addition to a map showing (the itinerary - the places of the camps - the number of days), a statement of the names of the foreign tourists and the Egyptians in Arabic and English attached with them (5) copies of foreigners' passports in color, (5) copies of the national ID card of the Egyptians.
Tourism companies are also required to organize desert tourism trips to send to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, a statement of the names of the participants in the trip, such as drivers, assistants, technicians and administrators, and all legal papers for the vehicles participating in the trip and their commitment to the security controls and requirements approved by the competent security authorities.
Applications are submitted no less than 15 days before the implementation of the tourist program, and the ministry informs the tourism police of the desert trip program 72 hours before its implementation, fulfilling all conditions and security controls.
